Customer Issue
I am trying to schedule a push notification for a limited audience – only users subscribed to one channel. However, when I select the audience as “Subscribed to: [Channel]” – it shows @channels.
Environment
- Studio | Publish/Connect | Smart Campaigns
Issue Details
When creating a smart campaign for a post that is targeted to specific channels and selecting Subscribed To: [channel name] groups for the audience, @channels is being shown for some of the group names when they are selected rather than the correct group name for the Subscribed To: [channel name] group selected.
In testing, it looks like this only occurs for the first channel assigned to the post. So if channel 1, channel 2, and channel 3 are assigned then you can add Subscribed To: for channels 2 and 3 but adding it for channel 1 will add @channels.
This is a display issue only. The campaign will be sent to the correct audience.
Resolution
Please check the current status of this issue on the Known Issues Tracker. (Issue ID: CSUP-25, formerly PUB-620)
The workaround at this time is to ignore the @channels audience displayed. Sending the campaign will send to the correct Subscribed To: audience.
