Sometimes a post stops being relevant content for users. At any time a post can be archived. If the post becomes relevant again, then the post can be restored from the archived state.
What Does Archive Do?
If the post was visible to a Member, Archive will make the post disappear from the member view. This includes everywhere that the post may have been visible - Latest, within Topics, Bookmarks, etc.
On the Planner page archived posts are listed under the Archived status filter. Anyone with access to the Publish section of Studio can look at archived posts at any time by selecting Archived from the Status dropdown. Move to Draft, Copy to New [Content Type], Preview, and Delete are all available options from the quick editor on the right that launches after clicking on a post once.

Multiple posts: while on the Planner page you can bulk archive multiple posts by using Bulk Change.
While on the Planner page under any view, click a post to open the quick editor. Select Continue Editing to enter the editor with full editing options. Click Archive to schedule a specific archive date for sometime in the future (or change a scheduled archive date to Never).
